As a brand photographer, I help to visually showcase the people and the heart behind a business, and I create imagery that propels a brand into whatever exciting things come next. And when I capture beautiful homes and interior spaces, I tell a home’s story in photos by highlighting the potential life that can happen inside those walls. Photographers are storytellers, yes, but they also share the beauty that can be found in possibility - in a business dream, in a vacation getaway, and in a beautiful home.
In my business, in my home, and in my community, my faith and my relationships drive me. Together with my husband, Jeremy, we’re raising and homeschooling our two awesome kids, who love learning hands-on skills and exploring nature as much as they enjoy math and writing. We’re blessed to call our ten-acre farm in northern Indiana home, and we love to support small businesses. From hiking with our goldendoodle and gathering farm-fresh eggs at home to introducing friends to local makers in our community who do amazing things, life sure feels sweet.
Here are a few:
I love to travel, and I can’t get enough of mountains, theme parks and warm weather (it snows too much in Indiana for me!). Hiking, camping, and being in nature feed my soul, which is why I’ve loved whitewater rafting, running half marathons, hiking the Manitou Incline (more than 2,700 steps!), and canoeing through the Boundary Waters.
I thrive within a busy schedule, and often it’s the little things that bring me joy. From white chocolate mochas and time with friends to family gatherings and binging a favorite TV series, I love simple pick-me-ups and building relationships.
I’ve been told that I have a gift for making connections, and that means a lot to me, since relationships are so central to my life and my work. I love building relationships with the clients I serve, who quickly become friends.
